Timothy Kember was commended to the work of the gospel in 1949, by the Sarnia Gospel Hall. He had spent some time in gospel work with G. P. Taylor in Brockville, Ontario, prior to his commendation. In 1949, Timothy and his wife Mary moved to Bloomfield in Prince Edward County, where tent meetings were held. The assembly in Picton was formed that year.
Timothy visited door-to-door, and held house meetings, in small communities in Ontario for much of his life, including Peterboro, Cambellford, Adolphustown, Wellington, Maberly, and Blind River.
Timothy passed into the presence of the Lord on February 13, 2021 and is survived by his wife Mary who currently lives in Hallowell House Long Term Care Residence near the town of Picton, Ontario.
